Croft Circuit

Croft Circuit

Like so many of the older race tracks in the UK, Croft Circuit is based on an old airfield which after the second world war became primarily a motorsports venue.

The circuit has come on a long way since with some excellent spots for spectators and an open, accessible paddock. Whether you want to sit on the hill at the Complex, or the grandstand at Clervaux where you’re almost guaranteed to see a few spills, Croft has the friendly and welcoming atmosphere you might expect from a track in North Yorkshire.

A tight hairpin backing onto a long, fast straight is one of the most frustrating but important corners at Croft Circuit – a small mistake here will lose you a lot of time on the straight. It also provides a great opportunity for a Valentino Rossi style ‘flip flop’ overtake.
