Pembrey

Our weekend at Pembrey was one of mixed fortunes. We were fortunate enough to be amongst the first to ever race the new layout of the circuit, and indeed two circuit layouts in one weekend.

The Saturday race on the first layout lasted just a few laps before a collision from third place meant that the SigMax car lost fluid and eventually overcooked the engine. This meant missing qualifying for the Sunday too, and we had to start at the back of the grid. However after one of the most exciting races of the year so far, the Torque Motorsport Sigmax car worked through the pack and got all the way back to fifth, setting the fastest lap and a new lap record of 1.09.083. Hats off to the work that Pembrey has been doing, the new circuit layout added another overtaking spot and was generally very well received.
