Summary
A summer’s weekend up in North Yorkshire saw another excellent weekend of racing.
The first Caterham SigMax race had everything, from tyre blowouts, to bold overtaking moves. After a last corner incident, Torque Motorsport took third from a starting position of sixth, earning some much needed championship points. The first super’s race also saw a very close scrap resulting in an excellent fourth position.
In the second SigMax race a fast start from fifth place saw Torque Motorsport in the thick of a six car battle for the lead. After a safety car, a few more incidents, and some close racing, Torque managed to get an important fourth position, keeping us in the championship race going into Zandvoort.
