Summary
Cadwell Park in a Caterham can only mean one thing…some close and frenetic racing. And round three and four of the Caterham Graduates championship certainly didn’t disappoint. A tricky day of testing, and a fairly mediocre qualifying session left us with a lot to do, qualifying seventh for both races at a circuit notoriously twisty and difficult to overtake. However the first race of the weekend saw some very close racing, with a few scrapes, tangles with backmarkers, and traffic, meaning we could work our way up to fourth position, less than a second off third place and a podium, bagging us a useful 27 championship points. The second race of the weekend however looked ominous, as a poor start dropped us down to eleventh position by the end of the first lap. However a lot of battling, and the fastest lap of the race meant that we were able to haul ourselves back into contention, climbing to fifth position ultimately.
